Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with the Friendly8 platform ("Platform"). It applies to all Users under your Account and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By using the Platform you agree to this AUP.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform solely for lawful internal business purposes in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Permitted use includes managing customer relationships in Cust8, organising tasks in Todos8, sending and receiving communications in Inboxes8, generating transcriptions and notes in MakeNotes8, publishing and scheduling content in Posts8, and building websites in Storyflow8.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activity

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.
• Distribute, upload, or store content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that constitutes hate speech.
• Threaten, harass, or intimidate any person.

3.2 Intellectual Property Infringement

• Upload or transmit any content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on Platform content.

3.3 Security and Infrastructure

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other Accounts, or any related systems or networks.
• Introduce viruses, malware, ransomware, or other malicious code.
• Conduct load testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning without our prior written consent.
• Circumvent or disable any security, rate-limiting, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Platform beyond what is permitted by our API Terms.

3.4 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) via Inboxes8, Posts8, or any other Platform feature.
• Use the Platform to harvest or collect email addresses or other contact data without the recipient's consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation.

3.5 Abuse of Platform Resources

• Engage in activities that impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicence, or otherwise make the Platform available to third parties outside your Account without our consent.
• Use the Platform to operate a competing service or to benchmark it for the purpose of building a competing product.

3.6 AI Feature Misuse

• Submit content to AI-powered features (such as MakeNotes8 transcription or AI-assisted drafting) that is designed to manipulate, poison, or extract the underlying model.
• Use AI-generated output to spread misinformation, generate deceptive deepfakes, or create content intended to deceive others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or systems used by the Platform.

3.7 Data and Privacy

• Process special category personal data (health, biometric, financial account data) through the Platform unless you have entered into a separate agreement covering that use.
• Collect or process the personal data of children under 16 through the Platform.
• Use the Platform in a way that violates any applicable data protection law, including the GDPR.

4. Content Standards

All content you upload, store, or transmit through the Platform must:

• Be accurate and not misleading.
• Comply with all applicable laws in the jurisdiction from which it is published.
• Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this AUP without prior notice.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We do not proactively monitor Customer Data. However, we reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may, at our discretion:

• Issue a warning.
• Suspend access to specific features or the Platform as a whole.
• Terminate your Account in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
• Report conduct to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from our enforcement of this AUP.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of the Platform that violates this AUP, please report it to [abuse email address]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate accordingly.

7. Updates

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be communicated in accordance with the notification provisions in our Terms and Conditions.
