Beta Features Terms

1. What Are Beta Features
From time to time, Friendly8 makes certain features, applications, or integrations available in a pre-release or beta state ("Beta Features"). Beta Features may be made available within any application on the Platform — including Cust8, Todos8, Inboxes8, MakeNotes8, Posts8, and Storyflow8 — and are typically labelled "Beta", "Preview", "Early Access", or "Experimental" within the interface.
2. Access
Access to Beta Features is provided at our sole discretion. We may invite specific customers to participate, open access to all customers, or limit access by plan tier. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time without notice.
3. No Warranties
BETA FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. BY USING A BETA FEATURE YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
- It may contain bugs, errors, and deficiencies.
- It may not perform as described or at all.
- It may result in data loss or corruption — you should maintain independent backups.
- It may be changed substantially or discontinued at any time without notice.
- It is not suitable for production or business-critical use unless you accept those risks.
THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY IN FULL TO BETA FEATURES.
4. Feedback
We actively encourage feedback on Beta Features. By submitting feedback, bug reports, or suggestions about a Beta Feature, you grant Friendly8 a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose, including incorporating it into the Platform, without any obligation to you.
5. Data and Beta Features
Where a Beta Feature involves processing personal data, it remains subject to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. However, we cannot guarantee that Beta Features implement all data retention, deletion, or export capabilities available in generally available features.
6. Promotion to General Availability
When a Beta Feature reaches general availability ("GA"), it may be:
- Included in your existing Subscription at no additional cost.
- Made available as an add-on at an additional fee, in which case we will provide advance notice.
- Discontinued without replacement.
7. Discontinuation
We may discontinue any Beta Feature at any time, for any reason, without notice or compensation. Access to a Beta Feature does not create any right or entitlement to continued access or to a GA version.
8. Confidentiality
Beta Features, their existence, and any information we share with you about them may be confidential. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, you must not publicly disclose, blog about, or discuss Beta Features without our prior written consent.
9. Governing Terms
These Beta Terms are supplementary to and do not replace our Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Beta Terms and the Terms and Conditions regarding Beta Features, these Beta Terms will prevail.
